Cyclist suffers face and head injuries after road traffic accident.

A young man in his 30s has been knock off his bike and rushed to hosiptal after colliding with a car during morning rush hour.

The accident happened just before 9am and it is not known at this stage who is at fault for the accident.

The emergency service responded promptly to the scene and treated the cyclist at the roadside before rushing him to hospital for further treatment.

A Police spokesperson commented: “A male in his 30s was knocked off a pushbike in a road traffic collision with a car.

“He suffered lacerations to his face and head and is on route to Hospital.

“Both the car and push bike were still at the scene and investigations are ongoing.”
