Cycling in Brighton & Hove has increased considerably over the last few years with figures between 2006 – 2009 showing a rise of 27%.
The increase is largely thanks to the well maintained cycle paths that run through the city, the main one being the path that runs along the seafront.
Many of these paths are part of the National and Regional Cycling Route Network and make it easy and cost effective for people to get around the city.
Its great that cycling is increasing in Brighton, but if more of us take to the roads on our bikes there is more than likely going to be an increase in the number of cycling accidents.
The good news for those of you worried about having a cycling accident is that if the accident isn’t you fault you could be entitled to cycling accident compensation.
Specialist cycling solicitors such as ourselves are ready and waiting to help you claim back any money you lost as a result of the cycling accident.
