Today tributes have been paid to a cyclist, who was tragically killed in London last week. Student Paula Jurek, 20, was crushed to death when an articulated lorry turned left in front her in the Camden Town area. Paramedics tried for 40 minutes to save the woman, but unfortunately she was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving, but was later released on bail. Friend of the woman, Paul Dean said, “”She was an extremely kind and friendly person. She had a great deal of time for others and listened to people without ever being quick to get angry or be judgmental. “We need more people like Paula in this world.” witnesses to the accident have been urged to contact 020 8998 9319 with any details that that may have.
