Pensioner Seriously Injured in Cycling Accident

A Cheshire pensioner has been seriously injured in a cycling accident involving a car. Local police were called to the scene on Crewe Road at 6.56pm, after a black Renault Clio had collided with the rider. The man was rushed to hospital with head injuries, a fractured hip and what was believed to be a fractured thigh.
