He has managed to return to work but its now appealing for any witnesses to come forward and help prosecute the driver responsible for causing the accident.

Cycling accident compensation specialists are now battling to get the cyclist the funding he needs to continue his rehabilitation.

The lawyer of the cyclist said, “Raymond has made a fantastic recovery, going back to work and even getting back on a bicycle, but to be able to move on from this ordeal he needs further information so we can get him the long-term support, physiotherapy and rehabilitation he requires.”

The accident victim continues to suffer pain in his left shoulder, right elbow and across his chest. He has had to have a series of operations since the incident to aid his recovery.

He said, “I’m thankful I was wearing a helmet as doctors told me it ultimately saved my life.

“Although I’ve been determined to get back to work as quickly as possible it is hard to move on knowing the person responsible for my injuries has not been brought to justice.”
