Many drivers also outlined their anger at seeing cyclists jumping red lights and ignoring ‘no cycling’ signs in areas where they are clearly displayed.

A spokesperson from the comparison website said “Rage on the roads is a big problem for motorists and cyclists.

“Our research shows both groups have much to complain about.”
