Leading online cycling store, Wiggle has announced that is up for sale.

The site, which has become popular with the middle aged lycra wearers in the UK is on the market for £200million.

A round of bids will start on November 28th 2011, with a number of companies expected to bid including Pret a Manger owner Bridgepoint, Advert and EQT.

There is also expected to be a bid from an unnamed overseas trade bidder.

The firm which was started in 1999 has reported staggering revenues in the last few years with a 55% rise in 2010, pulling in profits of more than £10million.
