Guernsey cyclists go hi-vis to raise awareness

Cyclists in Guernsey have completed a cycle ride in hi-visibility jackets to remind both cyclists and walkers to stay safe and seen this winter.

The event was organised by Guernsey Bicycle Group and purposefully coincided with the changing of the clocks.

The hour long ride started at the North Beach car park in St Peter Port and went to St Sampson’s High School and back again.

Everyone taking part wore hi-visibility clothing.
