A male cyclist, thought to be in his 50s, suffered “serious head injuries” following a collision with a car, according to Police.
The man was riding his bike at around 8.10pm when he was in collision with a Vauxhall Corsa. Emergency services attended the crash quickly and treated the cyclist on the roadside. He was then rushed to Hospital, where he still remains.
A Police spokesman said: “The cyclist…..has suffered serious head injuries and is in a stable condition in hospital.”
The cyclist is thought to have life threatening injuries. The driver of the Corsa has been arrested on suspicion of careless driving.
