Over recent years the Nottinghamshire council has worked hard to promote cycling in and around the city.
In built up areas, cycling is usually one of the quickest and certainly the cheapest way of travelling and thanks to the cycling lanes and tracks put in place in Nottingham, it is relatively easy to get from A to B on two wheels.
The council have even gone as far as releasing cycling maps and routes which can be found here – http://www.mynottingham.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=859
The problem with cycling in built up areas like Nottingham is that cyclists have to share the roads with other road users including lorries, buses and cars.
Unfortunately, as more people take to the roads on bikes accidents rise and cyclists can often find themselves injured through the fault of another road user.
The good news is that if you do become the victim in an accident and it wasn’t your fault you could be entitled to cycling accident compensation.
That’s where we can help. We’ve handled enquiries from cyclists all over the UK including London, Manchester and Nottingham and on many occasions have been able to claim compensation for the cyclists.
If you have had an accident in the last three years and don’t feel that it was your fault, call us today for a free no-obligation assessment on 01625 506 672.
