Cheshire named best pot-hole fixing Council

The CTC, the national cyclists’ organisation have named Cheshire and Cheshire West as the best council for fixing potholes, which is great news for cyclists.

The council filled all of the 47 holes that were reported by cyclists via the CTC’s dedicated pothole reporting website.

“The public is very keen to see improved road maintenance standards, and this is particularly true for cyclists, as good surfaces are hugely important for their safety,” said CTC campaigns director Roger Geffen.

A total of 11,200 potholes were reported on the CTC’s website. For the full lists of rewards please visit the website here: http://www.fillthathole.org.uk/awards/2011/ratings
