Boy airlifted to hospital after cycling accident

A Worcestershire boy has been airlifted to hospital following a serious accident he had while out cycling. It is thought that no other vehicles were involved in the crash, which left the boy with serious head injuries. He was airlifted to Birmingham Children’s hospital where he is currently being treated. A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Due to the nature of his injury the doctors decided to anaesthetise him to stabilise his condition.”
