Transport for London have also confirmed that changes will be made to the busy junction in order to improve the safety of cyclists.
Representatives insist that despite the terrible record of the junction, and despite it being the closest part of the new cycling super cycling highways to the Olympic Park, the diversion is being put in to place to make the 7,000 temporary cycle parking places easier to get to.
