A leading cycling organisation has revealed its concern over Britain’s pothole problem saying that it could lead to serious cycling accidents. The Nottingham based organisation, ‘Pedals’ has expressed deep concern with the scale of the pothole crisis that is currently hitting the British roads, and said it fears that cutbacks means roads are a long way from being restored. They are urging other road users to allow cyclists extra space when overtaking, as cyclists are particularly vulnerable. A spokeswoman for Nottingham Council said that despite cut-backs there is still room within the budget to get the pothole problem sorted. If you’ve been the victim of a cycling accident involving a pothole or other road user then you may be entitled to compensation. To claim compensation you will need to speak to a cycling accident solicitor.
